The "Industria Maquiladora y Manufacturera de Exportación" (INDEX) is a leading organization in this national industry. It has a membership composed of more than 1,200 multinational exporting companies that manufacture in Mexico for the world. For the past five decades, it has been promoting companies operating under the IMMEX program (Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación)
