As a subholding company of the Iberdrola Group, for more than 20 years
Iberdrola México has worked to contribute to the energy and sustainable
development of Mexico through a reliable, competitive and sustainable
energy supply. Currently, Iberdrola México has an installed capacity of
more than 11 GW in the country through 17 combined cycle and
cogeneration plants, 693 MW in seven wind farms and 470 MW in three
photovoltaic parks, with a presence in 15 states of the country. country.

Iberdrola México uses four types of technologies to produce electrical energy: our combined cycle and cogeneration plants do so through the use of natural gas and water vapor, while wind farms do so by taking advantage of wind currents and, finally, our Photovoltaic parks take advantage of solar radiation.
